There is just over three weeks until we get back our extra hour in the evening.

I'm looking forward to all the pro and con comments in the media.

It has already begun with Murphy's report (2017) about Kansen Chu (D-San Jose), again, introducing a bill in the California Assembly to end DST. This is not a partisan issue. The staff at We Are Green Bay (2017) previously wrote about Michael Scharra (R-Oshkosh) looking for co-sponsors for his bill to end DST in Wisconsin.

Boshart (2017) reports that the Governor of Iowa, Terry Branstad, is against ending DST. In the US House, "Dave Jacoby (D-Coralville, IA) stated that he is interested in ending the twice-a-year clock change in favor of 'more sunlight in the evening'." (Hiawatha World Online, 2017)

I am really looking forward to this years edition of how Daylight Savings Time will hurt the cows. Sinkovits covered this last year with item 3 on her count down, Cows Hate Daylight Saving Time (Sinkovits, 2016).
